Connected to Mac to our domain (Active Directory) I would like to have the same setup for the MacBook Pro. Once they re-connect to the work network all their data is synchronized to the server. Once they leave the office (go offline) all their files and folders are cached locally on the notebook. So while Windows notebooks are connected to the work network, they access their profile (documents, home folder, etc) directly from the server. In our Windows environment all the user profiles and their data are stored on our Windows 2008 R2 servers. The MacBook will be used at work (Online) as well as at home (Home). One of our new employees will be primarily working with a MacBook Pro and Mac OS X 10.7 (soon 10.8). Up until now our network was a Windows only environment.
